Socially Distant Farming for Those in Need at Green Power Garden

Sunbeam Kids is headed back to Green Power Garden.  This project is outdoors and easy to stay socially distant from fellow volunteers. 

At 9am on Wednesday, August 12th we will be helping tend to the crops at Green Power Garden in Waukesha. This project is a perennial summer favorite and we always have so much fun helping pick veggies, water plants, pull rocks out of the soil, etc. and we are eager to go back!  

** To keep everyone safe and healthy, please BRING YOUR OWN GARDENING GLOVES to use while working.  Additionally, while masks are not required at Green Power Garden, they are strongly encouraged. Don't forget your sunscreen and refillable water bottles too, as it can get hot out there in the garden!**

Green Power Garden is a volunteer led program that donates all of their veggies to area organizations to get fresh food in the hands of people who need it. One of their main recipients is HOPE Center. 

This project is open to all ages. Hope you can join us!
