Havenwoods State Forest Park Clean Up

There's a chill in the air and before we know it, snow will be flying! But before the ground is covered in white, let's get it cleaned tidied up for winter. Sunbeam Kids will be heading over to Havenwoods State Forest on Saturday, November 13th for one more park clean up this year. 

We will be greeted by a staff members from the park who will review some safety information then groups will head out around various areas of the park to pick up unwanted materials. Members are encouraged to bring their own garden gloves, buckets, and pickers, if they have them. Some supplies will be available to borrow upon arrival.

Havenwoods State Forest is located along in the Northwest area of Milwaukee, between Silver Spring & Mill Roads, east of 60th Street. Project volunteers should plan to meet at the Nature Center.
