On Friday 3/29 we will be helping foster kids soar at Robyn's Nest with our quarterly Fashion Friends project.
Robyn's Nest is a program of Children's Hospital (CHW) that supplies new and gently used clothing, hygiene products, infant items, toys, books and other household goods free to the families within the foster care system as well as those identified to have unmet needs through CHW.
There are two ways to get involved in this project:
1) We have room for up to 8 member families to go to Robyn's Nest to lend a hand by sorting items so kids & foster families can easily shop for the supplies they need (the store is not open to the public during our project). Feel free to bring gently used items to donate! Open to all ages, but please note that there are not bathrooms readily available.
2) Drop off gently used clothing or shoes to our project planner's home in Wauwatosa prior. Address will be provided to all who sign up.
Either way, this is a great time for seasonal closet cleaning! Or, you can always set up a separate drop off time with Lona, the Program Coordinator at 414-231-4820.
