Serving Dinner at St. Vincent de Paul
On Friday 12/27 we'll be back to serve dinner to families in need at SVDP!   What a  great  opportunity to serve over the Holiday season.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Milwaukee is an organization dedicated to the elimination of hunger and poverty in our community.  They provide free meals 5 nights per week at this location, as well as at a location on Milwaukee's south side.  Last year, they served over 102,000 meals, over 15,000 of those meals were served to children.

There are two opportunities to serve:

1) Serve dinner to 100+ adults and children (open to members) Families are asked to bring 100% juice (& gently used children's books and/or ceramic mugs  if you have them!) to share with the guests as well as serve them dinner.  Max capacity 8 families, all ages welcome.

2) Drop-off 100% Juice, Gently Used Children's Books, Gently used glass mugs or sippy cups prior at our project leader's home in Tosa (near Mayfair). Open to everyone. Exact address to be provided to those who sign up.  No max capacity.

NOTE: There is no specific age requirement, but because we will be serving to the public, SVDP reminds us that it is very important to be attentive to your kids during the project.

We are also  going to present our hostess, Ms LaDonna with a small gift at this event to thank her for all the work she  does coordinating SVDP meals for the community, and  for our group.

Thank you for lending a hand!
