Birthday Card Making for Eras Senior Network
Overview:
Please join us to decorate spring and summer birthday cards for Eras Senior Network. Birthday cards are used by Eras Senior Network to celebrate their clients, including seniors and disabled adults, making them feel special on their big day.
The Eras Senior Network is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to engage and support seniors, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers in leading meaningful lives. Seniors and adults with disabilities are supported by volunteers of all ages to help them maintain their independence. Eras helps individuals 55 and older stay engaged in their community through a variety of meaningful volunteer opportunities.
What to expect:
We'll start with a brief explanation of Eras and how we're supporting their work, then we’ll get to work making cards. All card-making supplies will be provided. Bring your creativity and lend a hand making and decorating birthday cards!
Capacity & Age Recommendations:
All ages are welcome. We expect to have capacity for approximately 10 families.
Additional information:
This project will be held in Program Room B, straight back from the library entrance.
Unable to attend but want to put your birthday card making skills to use for a good cause? Please feel free to make your cards at home and send to Eras directly at 2607 N. Grandview Blvd #150, Waukesha, WI 53188
Thank you for lending a little hand!
