Halloween Costume Collection
Has your ghost, robot, dinosaur, or tiny dancer outgrown their favorite costume(s)? Let's pay it forward so another kiddo has just as much fun dressing up and making memories this year!
Costumes will be donated to Chosen, Inc., a local non-profit fostering/adoption support ministry. The specific program that we will be supporting allows foster and adoptive families to shop, free of charge, for gently used clothing/shoes (newborn-teen). Kids can choose things they feel confident in -- thanks to donations from generous people like you!
All size costumes are welcome because kids come in all sizes :)
No costumes on hand but still want to lend a little hand? Here is a link to a very easy no-sew DIY cape you could make with your kids for the recipient kids. You could even buy or decorate some of the simple eye masks available at party stores to make it a cape + mask combo...this is a great way for groups, troops or classrooms to get involved.
Donations must be dropped off by the end of the day on Sunday, October 13 at one of our porch drop off locations. Specific addresses will be provided upon project registration but drop off locations will be in the following cities: Brookfield, Elm Grove, Franklin, Greendale, Pewaukee, Waukesha, and Wauwatosa. Please have costumes protected in a bag you do not need back.
The project is open to everyone. PLEASE SHARE with your friends when we post on FB or IG too...let's see how many costumes we can donate!
