Kinship Urban Garden
On December 20, from 9:30am to 11:30am we will be volunteering at the Kinship Urban Garden. All ages are welcome with the number of registrants limited to 20 individuals.
Volunteers will be helping with the following tasks: weeding, digging, harvesting and carrying things. Volunteers should be able to use basic scissors and weeding tools (trowels), should be able to kneel, carry buckets and listen to directions well.

Please bring a full water bottle, closed-toed/waterproof shoes (there is thistle on the farm), and sunscreen/skin protection. You will be outside, so please dress according to the weather.
Kinship Food Pantry asks that each volunteer bring some food items for the pantry. Some suggested items include: broths (chicken, beef, veggie), tuna, soup (chicken noodle, beef stew, veggie options), cooking oil (olive, canola, avocado).
Parking: Parking is only available across the street from the Urban Farm. Please drop off as many participants as possible before parking your vehicles(s). We co-occupy this space, so we are unable to use the lots adjacent to the farm. Please refer to the graphic below for direction to the approved parking spaces.
